The Gold Vault Chapter (GVC) of the Adjutant General’s Corps Regimental Association (AGCRA) is the Fort Knox chapter of the professional association for the U.S. Army Adjutant General’s Corps. We exist to develop Human Resources professionals, share the camaraderie of those who keep the AG spirit, recognize excellence, and preserve the heritage of the Army’s second-oldest existing branch.

Activated on 5 December 1988 as AGCRA’s first chapter, GVC serves U.S. Army Human Resources Command and the broader Fort Knox community, including U.S. Army Cadet Command, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, Army Reserve units, the 902nd Military Intelligence Group, the 19th Engineer Battalion, Fort Knox Garrison, and other partner organizations. Our membership includes Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, Civilian, retiree, and Family members.

The chapter provides a professional environment for mentorship, leadership, and professional development for members and non-members. We create a forum for new HR methods, improved techniques, and innovations that increase the effectiveness of Army HR professionals. We award scholarships to members and their dependents, recognize outstanding AG/HR Soldiers, Civilians, and supporters, and host signature events including the annual GVC Golf Scramble and AG Ball.

GVC also serves the greater Fort Knox and Kentucky community through volunteer work with organizations and events such as Feeding America, Habitat for Humanity, veterans programs, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Wreaths Across America, and Kentucky Derby volunteer support.
